New Power Press

More recently Genex has invested in another press. The press, made by Rhodes has a larger bed compared to the other presses, and packs a 100ton punch.

Network

To keep with the times Genex has also upgraded the computer network system, with a new server, communal printer and new PC’s.

Works Manager

Working with Birmingham based TIC (Technology Innovation Centre), Genex has newly installed a works management system aptly named ‘Works Manager’. The system has pushed Genex even further in to the 21^st century with this new system.

CMM Upgrade

On the quality side of Genex, the in-house ITP CMM machine has had an upgrade, with a new control unit and new software. This needed upgrade has proven useful in reducing inspection time and also offers better analysis of parts in production
